You ever notice how the very thing you ran from, the lesson you swore you had nothing else to learn from, is the one that keeps circling back like an ancestor tapping on your shoulder?
Yeah. Because spirit is petty like that.
You don’t just get to teach it, you gotta live it.
See, we love to be the guide. The one with the wisdom. The one who helps others avoid the very potholes we tripped in. But what happens when spirit sits you right back at the table you thought you had already been excused from? What happens when the lesson is yours to master before you can ever offer it to someone else?
You were so sure you had healed from that betrayal....until you found yourself back in the arms of the same type of energy, just with a different face.
You swore you had mastered surrender.....until spirit took away the safety net and told you to jump.
You thought you had finally conquered fear....until life came knocking with a test that made you question everything you thought you knew.
The medicine you resist is the very one you’re supposed to drink. And ain’t that some shit?
Spirit Will Send You Back to the Scene of the Crime
Here’s the hard truth: you don’t get to bypass your own healing just because you’ve been called to help others heal. You don’t get to walk around handing out wisdom like candy and think you won’t have to taste it yourself. Every lesson you give, you will be tested in. Every revelation you offer, you will be asked to live.
That’s the part they don’t tell you about leadership, about healing, about being chosen.
You will have to stand in the fire of the very thing you preach. Because spirit doesn’t do frauds.
Your Gift Won’t Let You Hide
You think your calling is just about helping others? Just like me helping you on your journey with my fertility readings and rituals.
Nah. Your calling is about breaking cycles, first within YOU, then through you.
You will have to return to the places that broke you and stand there, whole. You will have to sit with the very emotions you tell your clients to process. You will have to love yourself in the same places you demand others to.
Because spirit makes sure you embody what you say and write it down!
So if you find yourself back in a familiar lesson, don’t take it as failure. Take it as initiation. You’re being refined. Stretched. Called deeper. Spirit is making sure that when you pour into others, it’s from a place of lived truth, not rehearsed wisdom.
What Now? You Drink the Damn Medicine.
So what do you do when you find yourself back at the altar of your own lessons? You sit with it. You lean into it. You stop resisting and you drink the damn medicine.
Because on the other side of this is mastery. The kind that can’t be shaken. The kind that transforms not just you, but everyone connected to you.
